Patrick J. Lannon is of counsel with the firm. He practices in the areas of estate planning, estate administration, and trust administration. He is admitted to practice in Florida and New York.
Patrick earned his undergraduate degree (B.A., summa cum laude, 1991) from Columbia University where he was elected to Phi Beta Kappa and his law degree (J.D., magna cum laude, 1996) from Harvard University where he was a member of the Journal of Law and Public Policy.
Patrick is board certified by the Florida Bar in Wills, Trusts and Estates and “AV” rated by Martindale-Hubbell. He is a member of the Real Property, Probate and Trust Law Section of The Florida Bar. He is a member of the Section's Trust Law, Estate and Trust Tax Planning, and Attorney Trust Officer Liaison Conference Committees. He is a member of the Probate Rules Committee of the Florida Bar, the South Dade Estate Planning Council, the Miami Beach Estate Planning Group, and a past member of the Board of Directors of the Estate Planning Council of Greater Miami. Patrick is a past board member of the Miami MetroZoo “Feast for the Beast” fundraiser. Patrick lectures frequently on estate planning, probate and trust topics and is the author of the following publications:
